As you know after the meltdown of the Market in 2008 many companies were forced to make severe cuts in their budget; and many of the cuts reminded me of an old 1960's funny episode of the hit sitcom show known as GetSmart.

Fairwell to Nadia

As you know my mother passed away last month Feb 15, 2010 at 6:43AM; My brother Jack and I were with her in the room; we cried and kissed her good bye...

It was hard to see her carried away by the funeral services. I'm glad she is no longer suffering by being limited to her room. I guess she knew the end was near, because she made sure to celebrate the kids and Jack's birthdays few days earlier.

We held the memorial for her on Saturday Feb 20 a day after the arrival of Charles from Lebanon. It was peaceful, elegant and spiritual; many of her friends and mine attended, the kids read each very touchy poems, and I follwed them with my Eulogy.

After the service we went to a buffet style restaurant to continue sharing with everyone our love for our Mother Nadia.

Finally I just want to say fairwell to Nadia and I only hope that she is now in peace with the Lord of Heavens...

Christmas Gifts

We are getting closer to Christmas eve and obviously the kids are anxious to see what they’ll be getting by then…Brandon hinted to a XBOX game called “Call of Duty modern Warfare 2” and Nathan wanted some “Halo 3” action figure characters….
First we’ve talked about what good things they’ve done this year…and as you’ve guessed it they started blabbing and listing every little thing from getting good grades to looking after Grandma to cleaning their room…Of course I had to accept some of it but I made a condition for next year, and I’ll tell you about it Next Christmas…

Meanwhile we've decided to buy a specific gift for Grandma Nadia which she always wanted…

Now and for the most important gift of all and that is my gift (LOL), I’ll be getting a "ROVIO"…and it is arriving via UPS on the 22nd….I promise to blog about it in the future and no doubt you’ll be seeing it in action via the internet…

What happened to the old Kamenjati website?

    Many of you may be asking what happened to our cute (previous version)  "Kamenjati" site; some of you told me they liked the PICs and warm feeling the old site gave you.

    Like many things in life changes do happen and we do believe that our site was overdue for a face lift; what mainly triggered this abrupt change is the fact that my old internet provider aka Webhosting service decided to get out of the personal website business and focus on the more profitable small to large corporate accounts.

    After a little research I signed up with this new service giving me the free option to hosting 25 website of 5GBytes of space each (you do the math)..and all that at half of the cost of the previous provider. This should give me flexibilities to plan for a business website such as selling the kids' toys at half price... LOL...

I just started rebuilding the new site, so be patient with us and please post your input on what you like to see on our site..
